Geographic position


Hvar island is geographically situated in the Croatian centre Adriatic  (43 ° 10 ‘ N – 16° 27’ E) in the sea in front of the most important Dalmatian city, Split.

It is a very extended island (approximately mi 55), characterized by an always mild and windy climate and rich of Mediterranean vegetation: lavender cultivation characterizes the colours and scents in an involving way.

Hvar is surrounded by tens of other large and small islands, dominated by the characteristic Dalmatian lighthouses, all plunged into the cobalt blue of this part of Adriatic Sea.
It is an absolutely single context, one of the most beautiful of Mediterranean Sea, paradise of nautical activities. Thanks to its position is easy to reach Hvar via earth and via sea.
